As we are always looking for ways to benefit kids, the Mabton School District is also looking for ways in which we can benefit our staff. To that end, we have contracted with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to provide you with free, confidential support and resources to help with both work and life concerns.
Our provider is the Washington State EAP: a free, confidential program first created by the State Legislature in 1972 to promote the health, safety and well-being of state employees. Now the EAP serves more than 100,000 employees across the public service sector in our state.
EAP offers support with a wide range of work and life issues including workplace concerns, interpersonal conflicts, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting concerns, stress management, legal and financial issues, addiction and recovery, and more. No problem is too big or too small.
EAP services include:
Work/Life services – free legal consultation, financial counseling and an employee support website with a wide variety of tools and resources. Just log in to the WorkLife website using our unique login code (email or call Jessica Prieto for the free code).
You can find out more about your EAP benefit by attending a live EAP Orientation webinar, watching a pre-recorded Orientation webinar (15 minutes) or the pre-recorded WorkLife services Orientation (11 minutes).
Let us know if you have any questions about these new services.
Remember, everyone faces challenges from time to time — but you don’t have to face them alone. Don’t hesitate to call the EAP for free, confidential support, at 1-877-313-4455.
