Equity & Civil Rights

Equity and Civil Rights

Mabton School District promotes equal access, academic inclusion, and full educational participation in our schools for all students, parents and employees.

We work with and follow the guidance provided by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to ensure that we are in compliance with federal civil rights laws.

What should you do if you believe you are being discriminated against?

Allegations of discrimination should be reported to the school's principal immediately.  This will allow the school the opportunity to address your concerns and resolve the situation as soon as possible. Contact the district's Title IX Coordinator and Section 504 Coordinator who is responsible for responding to complaints about discrimination.

Please follow the link below to learn more about understanding how to make a complaint of unlawful discrimination with your school district.
